A solitary figure, a silent stand,
A tree, alone, in a barren land.
Its roots dig deep, a steadfast hold,
Against the winds, the rain, and cold.
Its leaves, once green, now withered and brown,
A testament to seasons that come and go, round and round.
Yet, still it stands, a symbol of might,
A beacon of hope, a guiding light.
No kindred spirit, no forest's embrace,
Just empty space, a desolate place.
But in its solitude, a strength it finds,
A resilience born of nature's winds.
It dreams of a time, when life will renew,
When buds will bloom, and leaves will be new.
Until then, it waits, patient and strong,
A testament to nature's enduring song.
